The so called “St. Galler Sausage” is a symbol of the swiss food culture and embodies a traditional handcraft. 12 Pairs of St. Galler Sausages are transported in the “Voralpenexpress“-train from St. Gallen to Lucerne.

The journey takes place with two floating bicycles and suitcases in which the sausages are hiding. After 2.5 hours of ascents and descents the 12 Pairs with individual signatures are handed out to passengers.
