Video Installation, 2020
This work is inspired by ritual dances from all around the world. The twelve minute unscripted dance was performed while wearing self-created costumes. In the background you hear a sound setting made of drumbeats and chants.
This performance is projected on a 3 x 4 m canvas out of rescue blankets by two video projectors. These rescue blankets offer to bring on a bridging between figurative and abstract. During the dance the two figures melt into each other over again and transform themselves into floral structures.
